Late Registration September 9, 2010 Held at the St. Matthew office from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm RETURNING REP TRYOUT PLAYERS On September 9 from 630pm-830pm, we will be holding a final registration for all returning rep tryout players. If you are returning to St Matthew and have not already finalized your registration with us please do so on this night. The deposit paid at KC will be transferred to St. Matthew so you will be required to pay the remainder of the fees and book your bingos if you have not already done so. AFTER Sept 9, ANYONE who has not finalized their registration and Bingo requirements will NOT be allowed on the ice. PEE-WEE CHECKING CLINIC St. Matthew Hockey and Sports Club will be holding a free Pee-Wee checking clinic for first and second year Pee-Wee players registered with St. Matthew Hockey. Following are the dates and times: Saturday, September 4th-KC Twin Arena-12:00-1:00 pm-First year Pee-Wee players only. This clinic will focus on the basics and is an introduction to checking only. Sunday, September 5th-KC Twin Arena-9:15-11:30 am-First and second year Pee-Wee players. This clinic will split the players into 2 groups for the first half and combine all players for the second half. We have a limited number of spots for each clinic. Please email your Pee-Wee Director, Ben Benedetto at ben.benedetto@rbc.com to secure your spot.

In conjunction with Hockey Edmonton and Knights of Columbus Hockey, St Matthew Hockey will be offering both Initiation I and Initiation II this upcoming season. Initiiation I is once per week for kids learning to skate, or just learning to play hockey for the first time. Initiation II is a twice per week program for kids who are more comfortable on their skates and are ready to learn more about the FUNdamentals of hockey. Initiation II will consist of one practice and one organized game per week. Registration fee is 50$. Initiation II registration fee is $99. Hockey Edmonton and EFCL (Edmonton Federation of Community
Leagues) came up with a new system to facilitate the
mandatory sale of the community league memberships during
hockey registration. The objective is to eliminate all the
work that the registrars have had to do and ease the strain
of the volunteers. Together they have developed a
streamlined system as follows.
On-line registration is not ready yet, check back beginning of June. Important Bingo Information: Parkway has revised its volunteer arrival times. Remember that arriving on time and ready to work is important to avoid club penalization and possible loss of the bingo licence. Regular Events:
